Arley Consulting are seeking to appoint a Consultant or Senior Consultant with consultancy experience of landfill engineering and development to work with our existing team, in the preparation of design reports for all aspects of landfill infrastructure including basal lining systems, artificial geological barriers for inert waste landfills, landfill caps, in-waste and external monitoring boreholes etc. The work will include the preparation of Construction Proposals reports incorporating design and CQA elements, supervision of construction works and validation reporting.
The successful applicant would be expected to liaise with our clients, specialist contractors and the regulatory authorities. Excellent written and personal communication skills are essential together with a thorough and up to date understanding of the relevant regulatory guidance.
Depending on your skills, experience and interests there will also be opportunities to work on a wide range of related technical, scientific, and engineering subjects, including geological and hydrogeological investigations, review and assessment of monitoring data and risk assessments.
The work is multidisciplinary and we will consider candidates from a variety of technical backgrounds including; geo-environmental, geology, hydrogeology and civil engineering.
Applicants should have a relevant first degree. Chartered status and/or membership of a relevant scientific or engineering professional institution would be an advantage.
For the Consultant position, candidates should have at least 2 yrs experience.
For the Senior Consultant position, candidates should have at least 7 yrs experience.
